January Volunteer Work Week Recap

Ten volunteers gathered the last week in January to put the final touches on the first floor of Weston Hall - which will begin to be used for student space. The group spent the week painting, cleaning windows, replacing floor tiling, and sealing the wood floor in the front room. A few others helped repair furniture in Antiochiana and umbrellas for the North Kitchen.

As usual, activities included a few evening gatherings, including a birthday potluck to honor Evelyn LaMers '69 at the lovely home she shares (and built!) with Tom LaMers '68.

A big thank you to Peggy Erskine '60 for delicious meals and Mandy Knaul '00 for her help in the kitchen!

The project in Weston has been a huge undertaking, led by volunteers over several work weeks. The Antioch College community is excited to have this wonderful space available to students! Thank you to everyone that contributed to this effort.
